Front machine MF5

The OAXA-MicroLab MF5 front machine is an automatic 5-axis machine that performs all the operations required to manufacture the front of an acetate spectacle frame.
The operation is automatic, without supervision.

Flexible
The programming of the MF5 is simplified thanks to the Lona5 software at ''Process Aval''. The machining operations as well as toolings, and even the bending tools are generated automatically and very quickly from the model. The change of model is very fast.

Automatic
The OAXA-MicroLab MF5 is fully automatic: material feeding, machining, hinge housing machining, and ejection of the finished frame. The machine is designed to work without human supervision.

HF spindle with automatic tool changing (10 tools), liquid cooling, frequency converter for an adjustable speed from 5 to 24000 rpm
Linear guides: Three pre-stressed ball bearings per linear axis. Static load capacity: 1350 dN per drive, dynamic load capacity: 833 dN: these are very high-quality machine tool components.
Rotary axes: innovative high performance gearboxes with excellent repeatability.
Precision ball screws with two pre-stressed ball nuts. Load capacity per ball nut: 700 dN
Material feeder: 1200 mm (46 Inches) i.e. 200 chips of 6 mm thickness. Possibility to feed chips with glued cleat up to 19mm thickness.
